This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Lynxbe Platform application, visit our website, or use any of our services. When you create an account or are invited to the Lynxbe Platform, we collect:

- Password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing)

- Role and team assignment within your organization

For business accounts on the Lynxbe Platform, we collect:
- Business name and contact details
- Business logo and branding assets
- WhatsApp Business Account credentials and tokens
- Communication channel configurations (WhatsApp, SMS, Voice, Email)
- Team structure and user assignments
2.3 Communication Data
When you use the Lynxbe Platform for business communications, we process:
- Messages sent and received through connected channels (WhatsApp, SMS, Email)
- Call logs and recordings (when enabled by your business administrator)
- Customer contact information managed through the platform
- Conversation metadata (timestamps, read receipts, delivery status)
- Media files shared in conversations (images, documents, audio, video)
2.4 Usage and Analytics Data
We automatically collect certain information about how you use our Services:
- Device information (device model, operating system, app version)
- IP address and approximate location
- App usage patterns and feature interactions

- Push notification token (for delivering notifications)

4.1 Within Your Organization
Information is shared within your business workspace as configured by your administrator, including conversations, customer data, and team activity visible according to permission settings.
4.2 Third-Party Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation
The Lynxbe Platform is a multi-tenant system. Each business organization's data is strictly isolated:
- All database queries are filtered by business identifier
- Users can only access data belonging to their organization
- Cross-tenant data access is technically prevented at the application and database level
- Business administrators control what data team members can access through granular permission settings
7. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 90 days of account closure upon request.
- Communication data: Retained according to your organization's retention policy. Business administrators can configure data retention periods.
- Audit logs: Retained for a minimum of 12 months for security and compliance purposes.
- Analytics data: Aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely in anonymized form.
- Backups: Encrypted backups are retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information ("Right to be Forgotten")
- Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format

- Restrict Processing: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances

Your data may be processed and stored in the following regions:
- European Union (Frankfurt): Primary data hosting on AWS eu-central-1
- Ireland: Secondary infrastructure on AWS eu-west-1
All international data transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required.
11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
- Delete personal information held by us
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights
12. EU/UK Data Protection (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your personal data based on:

The Lynxbe Platform may integrate with third-party services (WhatsApp, Google, Meta, etc.). Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting a notice within the Lynxbe Platform app
- Sending an email notification to account administrators
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
